After about 40 years of wearing trousers, I suddenly felt like wearing a dress again last year. It was a very hot summer and I wanted something airy. A linen dress from the nearest boutique made me spontaneously happy.
When it got colder, I started knitting one.
And now you can too.
Take a light but voluminous yarn of your choice and start. No gauge required. Yes, you read that right. And it gets even better. Mamaki is not only knitted without gauge, but also seamlessly and from the top - as long as you want it. Mamaki has no set sizes. You knit the dress according to your measurements. You need about 1.7 times more yarn than for a sweater (depending on the desired length).
